My Chemical Romance Wrap Up CD/DVD
My Chemical Romance's Black Parade tour has been turned into a CD/DVD package called The Black Parade Is Dead! Due out on June 24 through Warner Bros., the release combines concert footage from Mexico City and the band's hometown of Hoboken, NJ. While the CD portion and disc one of the DVD cover 13 tracks from Mexico, the second DVD sports 18 songs from Jersey."These shows were some of the most memorable and fun we've ever had onstage," bassist Mikey Way told Billboard.com. "The kids at the Mexico City show actually overpowered the PA—their voices were deafening. The Maxwell's show was complete pandemonium, and the video captures the feeling of an old school MCR show, the way it was way back when."
Pre-orders at http://www.mychemicalromance.com/blackparadeisdead come with immediate downloads of "Welcome to the Black Parade," "Mama" and "Dead." Fans also have the option of purchasing a limited edition version that includes a pinewood coffin box, featuring a band-created, hand-painted Day of the Dead mask and a "Death Certificate of Authenticity."
