Making Broadway debut
Katie Holmes To Take The Stage
Interest in Katie Holmes' life skyrocketed after she became Mrs. Tom Cruise while her career began to wane. The actress-turned-mother-turned-fashionista is scheduled to make her Broadway debut this fall in a production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons. Holmes rounds out a cast that already includes Patrick Wilson as well as John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest, who previously portrayed a married couple in the '80s dance flick Footloose.Lithgow plays a man who once sold airplane parts to the military. Wiest plays his wife. Wilson will play their son, with Holmes as the son's love interest. The play was last revived in 1987.
Holmes was last seen in the big screen flop Mad Money. She previously showed promise in the indie film Pieces of April, and her move to the stage may mark a career revival.
