JellyNYC Announces Special Ronnie Spector Performance

Recent Hall of Fame inductee Ronnie Spector has signed on for a special one-off performance at the July 6 edition of JellyNYC's POol Party series. Advertised as a "Rock and Soul Dance Party, Brooklyn-style," the show will be supported by a Rabbit Factory Revue of Roscoe Robinson, Ralph "Soul" Jackson, Hermon Hitson, and Wiley & the Checkmates.

As the case has been for the past three years, this summer's POol Parties will be free and feature such record shop favorites as Deerhunter, Black Lips, MGMT, Aesop Rock, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Liars, and the Breeders. The kick-off gig happens on Sunday, June 29, with the Hold Steady, the Loved Ones, and J Roddy & the Business. For more information, check out http://thepoolparties.com.
