Steven Tyler Clears Up Rehab Situation
Steven Tyler has issued an official statement regarding his current rehab stint. Apparently, it has nothing to do with drinking or drugging. Instead, a series of foot surgeries have left the Aerosmith singer incapacitated."The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time," Tyler said. "The 'foot repair' pain was intense, greater than I'd anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet."
Aerosmith's plans to finish and tour behind a new album will not change as a result of Tyler's rehab stay, although details on either are still M.I.A.
