50 Cent Eyes MTV Deal
Variety has reported a looming deal between 50 Cent and MTV. The as-yet-untitled project is described as a "hip-hop spin on The Apprentice." It'd follow 16 contestants as they compete in business-related contests in front of Fiddy. Eight episodes have been ordered thus far, but no premiere date has been announced yet.50 Cent's MTV show is one of many new additions to the station's rotation, including "Making the Rock Band" and a recently-announced T.I. vehicle that'll chronicle his community service days before the rapper starts a one-year prison sentence.
