M.I.A. Gets Engaged
M.I.A. fans were treated to quite a surprise last Tuesday, May 27: the singer/producer's announcement that she just got engaged to Benjamin Brewer, the lead vocalist/guitarist in the Exit. Brewer is also known as the son of Edgar Bronfman Jr., the chairman/CEO of Warner Music Group.The couple's wedding date is unknown, as is how it'll affect the UK native's on-again/off-again struggle with securing a U.S. visa. M.I.A. will play the first summer date at Brooklyn's McCarren Park Pool this Friday.
