The Streets Plans an Early Retirement
Mike Skinner of the Streets claims his fifth LP will also be his last. The only problem with his whole story: Skinner still hasn't released his fourth disc, Everything Is Borrowed, which is due out later this year."If you like The Streets you are about to experience the peaceful positive vibes that come after a disturbing work such as the last you heard," Skinner wrote on his blog this week. "(But) the [fifth and final record] will be dark and futuristic. This could not be further from the album you're about to hear, but it's what is on my mind at the moment."
The Streets' previous LP, The Hardest Way To Make an Easy Living, was released in 2006.
