The Zombies Plot Another British Invasion

Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent of the Zombies have announced a North American tour, fleshed out with the help of three guest musicians: bassist Jim Rodford (ex-the Kinks/ARGENT), drummer Steve Rodford (a.k.a. Jim's son), and session guitarist Keith Airey. The trek will run from a July 3 stop in Detroit to a Winnipeg club date on July 31.

The Zombies' original lineup—except for guitarist/vocalist Paul Atkinson, who died in 2004—reunited in 2006 after 30 years apart. They last performed the Zombies' classic Odessey and Oracle LP at London's Shepherds Bush Empire in March of this year.
