Lindsay Lohan Has "Labor Pains"

Tabloid princess Lindsay Lohan gets more press for her partying, her rehab stints, and for pulling out of roles than she does for the films that she actually appears in. It's almost easy to forget that she makes movies. Nevertheless, La Lohan is set to star in Labor Pains, a comedy about a woman who fakes being pregnant in order to save her job as an assistant at a military publishing firm.

Cheryl Hines, Chris Parnell, and Connie Britton have also signed onto the film, to be released by Nu Image/Millennium. The film begins production next week in Los Angeles and shouldn't be affected by any of the strike happenings.

Lohan has had an erratic film slate as of late, having dropped out of several projects, including Manson Girls and Poor Things. Maybe Labor Pains will help get the actress back on track and on the big screen instead of in the gossip pages.
