Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen Return to Broadway
Big screen stars Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen are cruising on over to Broadway next spring. The pair will headline the new play Impressionism.The storyline focuses on the relationship between an art gallery owner and a photojournalist. Other castmates and which theater will house the show have yet to be determined at press time. Those details will be finalized once this season closes.
Irons and Allen are certainly no strangers to theater. Both actors, who've enjoyed steady film success, are Tony winners—he for The Real Thing in 1984 and she for Burn This in 1988. Allen also performed in The Heidi Chronicles in 1989, which was her last run on Broadway. Theater buffs are sure to welcome back these titans back to Broadway!
