Relax, it's only a film!
The "Apocalypse" is Nigh for Seth Rogen
For Seth Rogen, the apocalypse is imminent. The comedic actor, whose career has taken off to stratospheric levels in recent months, will star in Mandate Pictures' Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse. Rogen's skinny Knocked Up co-star Jay Baruchel will rejoin him for this film. The comedy is about two dudes dealing with the coming of the apocalypse, and filming of the project will begin in 2009. It was written by Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The pair also penned the screenplay for last summer's goofy comedy Superbad. Rogen and Goldberg will also produce. Will frequent Rogen/Baruchel/Goldberg collaborator Judd Apatow work on the film? It's entirely possible, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.
