M.I.A. Retires From the Road

M.I.A.'s decision to "stop for a second" and cancel all of her remaining summer tour dates may last longer than anyone anticipated. According to a New York Times report and numerous eyewitness accounts from Bonnaroo, M.I.A. decided to make the festival her "last gig ever." Whether she actually follows through with all this end-of-days talk remains to be seen.

At the moment, M.I.A.'s label, Interscope Records, isn't talking, so all we know is she has nothing scheduled and is due to get married to the Exit's guitarist/vocalist, Ben Brewer, sometime in the near future. Stay tuned …
