Joe Strummer Doc Headed to DVD

The Future Is Unwritten, Julien Temple's award-winning Joe Strummer documentary, has been set for a July 8 DVD release through Legacy Recordings. The label released the film's soundtrack in May of last year.

An incredible collection of friends and family is interviewed throughout the two-hour doc, including Bono, John Cusack, Johnny Depp, Martin Scorsese, Courtney Love, Anthony Kiedis and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jim Jarmusch, and Mick Jones. If that's not enough, the DVD version adds 100 minutes of bonus interview footage entitled "Conversations With Joe," as well as a commentary track from Temple.
