Robert Downey Jr. considering a sci-fi Western role
Iron Man to Roam Amongst Cowboys and Aliens?
Cowboys & Aliens is adapted from Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley's graphic novel about a battle between Apache and Western settlers. The battle stops when a spaceship crashlands in Arizona, spotlighting the tug-of-war between traditional culture and advancing technology. Downey Jr. will play former Union Army man Zeke Jackson in the film should he sign on.
