Scars on Broadway Reveal Release Date For Debut
Interscope Records has signed Scars on Broadway, the System of a Down side project featuring guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan. The duo will release their self-titled debut—14 tracks produced by Malakian last fall—on July 29.According to a press release, "the Scars tracks are more song-based [than SOAD] and showcase Malakian's varied writing style, from the simmering rock sound of 'World Long Gone' to the melodic yet desolate 'Universe'." Other confirmed song titles include "3005," "Enemy," "Stoner Hate," "Babylon," and "Cute Machines." Expect a Scar-ified tour announcement later this summer.
