Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Birth to a Baby Girl
Britney Spears' sister, Jamie Lynn, gave birth to a baby girl at a south Mississippi hospital on Thursday morning. A close, unidentified friend of Jamie Lynn revealed the news to the Associated Press, adding that the baby was named Maddie Briann and weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces."They are surrounded by their close relatives," a Spears rep told OK! magazine, "Including Jamie Lynn's older sister Britney, mother Lynne, father Jamie and brother Bryan."
Nickelodeon, the home of Spears' former show Zoey 101, also issued a statement on Thursday, saying, "We wish her and her family well."
