Christina Ricci Lends Her Voice to a Yellow Crayon

Christina Ricci is getting her Crayola on! The actress is best known for taking left-of-center roles, but the most recent job she's accepted really takes the cake. The wide-eyed actress has taken another unpredictable turn, lending her voice to the timid Yellow Crayon character in The Hero of Color City, an animated CGI feature from Exodus Films. Magnolia Films will release the picture in North America.

In the film, the colorful world of crayons is threatened by a villainous tyrant. The film is in pre-production stages, with Ricci being the first of the voice cast to be announced, with more to come shortly.

There will be a series of educational games created in conjunction with the film, among them art supplies, digital books that will be downloadable from www.kidthing.com, and trading cards.
