After just four years apart
Phish Considering Reunion Options
Phish keyboardist Page McConnell has confirmed the band's plan to meet later this year and discuss its 'options.' "The prospect of Phish reuniting is something I consider very seriously," he said in a statement, "And I think about it a lot."McConnell added that the group's four-year break has brought them closer than they've ever been in 20 years. "Recently the conversations have turned toward the possibility of spending some time together," McConnell explained. "The only real decision that has been made is that when we do get together, it will only be the four of us, hopefully with no distractions. I am really looking forward to that."
Phish accepted a lifetime achievement nod at the Jammy Awards last month, but did not perform or speak about a possible reunion. Billboard.com claims the group may be considering a new record with Steve Lillywhite, but the producer declined to comment on the matter.
