Timothy Olyphant Takes a "Damaged" Role
We've been continuously reporting on the trend of movie stars transitioning to TV roles over the past few months. Everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Christian Slater is getting in on the fun, whether it's a guest starring spot or a leading role. The trend continues with Timothy Olyphant crashing the television party this week.Olyphant, who stared in this spring's military drama Stop-Loss, has joined the cast of the FX show Damages, a legal series also starring film veteran Glenn Close and up and comer Rose Byrne, who boasts the blockbuster Troy on her film resume. Olyphant's character is set to become involved with Byrne's in some capacity as she deals with her superior, played by Close.
