Philip Seymour Hoffman Does First Look Deal
Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman and his Cooper's Town Productions company has signed a first look deal with Overture Films. The deal is initially set for two years, with Cooper's Town developing films for Overture.The first project will be Unconditional, a story about the interlaced lives of several lonely New Yorkers adapted from Brett C. Leonard's play of the same name. Leonard will adapt his drama for the big screen. Hoffman will not be appearing in the film and it is said that the actor, who nabbed a Best Actor statue for his work in Cooper's Town's Capote, will not act in most of the company's projects.
