Gym Class Heroes Frontman Gets Arrested

St. Louis police arrested Travis McCoy on Tuesday after the Gym Class Heroes frontman hit a fan over the head with his microphone. The concertgoer had reportedly directed racial slurs at McCoy. When the singer asked him to step onstage, the unidentified man lunged at McCoy and allegedly got smacked.

"When someone calls you something that's ignorant and that offensive," McCoy said, apologizing to the audience, "You have to bash their head in with a microphone."

The Maryland Heights Missouri Police Department arrested McCoy and later released him on $500 bail.
