Horror and heavy metal are a match made in hell
Tony Todd and D. Randall Blythe Dig Their Own "Graves"
Heavy metal and horror films have long been linked, so it's fitting that Lamb of God vocalist D. Randall Blythe, known for his throat-shredding style, will make his acting debut in the forthcoming thriller The Graves. Horror veteran Tony Todd, who scared the dickens out of audiences as the evil, hook-wielding title character in Candyman, will also star.Additionally, Bill Moseley, who also has a connection to the heavy metal scene, having appeared in The Devil's Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses, both of which were directed by longtime metal star Rob Zombie, will appear in the film.
The plot follows two road tripping sisters driving through the desert who end up in a town called Unity, where something is strangely amiss. Todd will play Unity's reverend, while Blythe will portray Deacon Luke, an evil denizen.
The film will be screened for distributors this fall.
