Mastodon, Slayer Team Up For European Tour

Mastodon and Slayer have announced nearly a month of dates for the "Unholy Alliance Tour, Chapter III." As that title suggests, the trek is the third meeting of metal's old and new guard. This time around, they're hitting Europe between an October 27 stop in Manchester and a November 19 gig in Berlin. Trivium will also perform throughout the tour.

In related news, Slayer and Mastodon have separate summer tour dates in the coming months, including the latter's stint on Rockstar's "Mayhem Festival" alongside Slipknot, Disturbed, Dragonforce and more.
