Comedy about a man mistaken for Jesus Christ
"Son of Mourning" Adds Jesse Bradford, Steven Weber
Son of Mourning, an indie comedy about a writer who returns to his hometown to help broker his parents' divorce and is mistaken as the second coming of Jesus Christ, has made news for reuniting Sopranos actresses Lorraine Bracco and Jamie-Lynn Sigler. The independently financed comedy has added a few more cast members, among them Jesse Bradford and Steven Weber.Bradford will play a Hollywood agent looking to profit from the supposed savior's new fame, with Weber playing a lieutenant governor. Bob Odenkirk will play a co-worker and Stephen Root also has a role. A divine comedy, indeed.
