Yet another indie LP from the Hollywood star
Ice Cube Readies Eighth Solo Record
Ice Cube has completed Raw Footage, his first solo full-length since 2006's Laugh Now, Cry Later. That hit album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and went on to become the highest-selling indie rap album of the year. Raw Footage is due out on August 19 through Cube's own label, Lench Mob Records, and features guest spots from The Game, Musiq Soulchild, Young Jeezy and more.Expect a worldwide Ice Cube tour in the coming months, running from a July 11 stop at Germany's Splash Festival through a New York gig at Irving Plaza on September 21.
