Matt Damon Enters "The Green Zone"
Matt Damon is keeping busy, currently at work on The Green Zone, an Iraq War drama.In the film Damon will portray a soldier deployed in Iraq post-Saddam Hussein regime. Damon's character is dispatched to find weapons of mass destruction and, during his search, he starts to think that the WMDs may not actually exist. Academy Award nominees Amy Ryan and Greg Kinnear are also set to star in the film. Paul Greengrass, who directed United 93, will helm the picture, which has a 2010 release date planned.
Additionally, Damon and Greengrass will work together on the fourth installment of the Jason Bourne franchise.
