'Rock Band 2' Snags New Guns N' Roses Song
"Shackler's Revenge," one of the songs from Guns N' Roses' long-delayed Chinese Democracy LP, has been tapped for Rock Band 2. The track is one of more than 100 master recordings in the new game, which hits stores in September. According to a New York Times report, the sequel will support the first game's controllers and songs, as well as a new drum/guitar setup.Mötley Crüe had a lot of success selling its "Saints of Los Angeles" single for Rock Band in April, generating more than 47,000 downloads for the Xbox 360 version. To put things in perspective, digital services only managed to sell around 10,000 downloads of the song in the same time period.
