Britney Spears Gets Back to Work
According to a statement from Britney Spears' p.r. team, the pop star is back in the studio and working on a new album with a "team of top-notch producers and songwriters." Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, didn't hint at a possible release date but he made sure to note that she's essentially spending her summer working on the follow-up to 2007's Blackout.That 'comeback album' has sold 879,000 copies in the states according to Nielsen SoundScan numbers.
