Eminem Starts Work on First Album in Four Years

Eminem is reportedly working on his fifth album, the rapper/producer's first since 2004's Encore disc. According to an EW.com interview with Bishop Lamont, an MC close to Dr. Dre and Eminem, "He's been quiet too long and he's got a lot to get off his chest."

Among the likely topics on Em's chest are the 2006 shooting death of his longtime friend and D12 associate, Proof, and rumors that Eminem suffered a minor heart attack late last year. "[I've heard] some amazing stuff," Lamont added. "He went through what he had to go through, and now he's been able to take all the pain and stress and put it out in his music."
