Film starring "The Rock" and others will bow in November 2009
"Planet 51" Gets Release Date
Planet 51, a CG animated film about an astronaut who lands on the aforementioned planet only to find it inhabited by a colony of green aliens who enjoy an idyllic, '50s-esque American existence, has received a release date. Sony will release the film under its Tri Star umbrella in November 2009, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.Dwayne Johnson, AKA "The Rock," will voice the astronaut, Chuck Baker, while Jessica Biel, Justin Long, and Gary Oldman are all part of the film's voice cast as well.
