Salma Hayek Calls Off Engagement

Mexican beauty Salma Hayek, who appears to have retreated from her movie career over the past few years in favor of settling down, has broken off her engagement to longtime billionaire boyfriend Francois-Henri Pinault. Pinault is the CEO of a luxury goods company that owns high end brands like Gucci and Balenciaga. Hayek's rep would not comment any further on the matter other than to confirm the broken engagement.

Hayek and Pinault welcomed daughter Valentina last year and announced plans to wed. In addition to her role as a new mother, Hayek also acts as an executive producer on TV's Ugly Betty.
