Pierce Brosnan, Morgan Freeman, and Danny DeVito Team Up
Danny DeVito will direct Morgan Freeman and Pierce Brosnan in The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, a film based on the popular young adult novel about a girl who made the transoceanic trek from England to America in the 1830s and became embroiled in a battle between a captain and his mutinous crew. Young Irish lass Saoirse Ronan has snagged the role of the title character.The film is in pre-production and will begin shooting in September. Multi-tasking DeVito will not be making an appearance in the film, choosing to remain behind the camera.
