Barack Obama To Appear At Lollapalooza
Sources close to Barack Obama's presidential campaign have said he plans on making an appearance at Lollapalooza next weekend. According to several reports, Obama is expected to introduce fellow Chicago native Kanye West."I've met with Kanye," Obama admitted on the TV show What's In It For Us, "And I've talked to other artists about how potentially to bridge that gap. I think the potential for them to deliver a message of extraordinary power that gets people thinking (is massive)."
If the Kanye/Barack connection happens, it won't be a surprise, what with recent news of West, N.E.R.D. and Wyclef Jean performing at the Democratic Convention in Denver on August 25-28.
