Dr. Dre Drops 'Detox' Details
Dr. Dre has spoke out about his long-delayed Detox disc, telling USA Today, "I'm just now—over the last couple of months—starting to feel that it's going to be right and it's something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it … [I'm] shooting for a November or December release." Dre added to expect lots of live drum loops on the LP, as well as such "usual suspects" as Jay-Z, Nas and Lil Wayne.Once the legendary producer/MC finishes his full-length, he hopes to hole up in a studio with a protégé on par with Eminem and Snoop Dogg. "All I want to do is sit in the studio with that person for a year and try to create another masterpiece," Dre explained.
