Damon Albarn Reveals Details of New Disc
Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett have announced an album version of their opera Monkey: Journey to the West, which opens at London's Royal Opera House this week. The 55-minute CD will include 22 instrumentals and vocal tracks, as well as deluxe packaging that explores "to the fullest its characters, storylines, themes and inspirations."Hewlett is best known as the visual artist behind Albarn's Gorillaz project, as well as the now-defunct underground comic Tank Girl.
