Leonardo DiCaprio to Get in the "Zone"
Leonardo DiCaprio and his Appian Way production company are teaming up with Warner Bros. to make a feature film based on one or more episodes from the classic sci-fi series The Twilight Zone, which began airing on the boob tube in 1959 and ran through 1964. The companies have put out word, albeit on the down low, that they are seeking pitches and script ideas from writers based on plots from the series. The film would not be episodic, instead creating one continuing storyline culled from a single or several episodes. A big screen adaptation of the series, called Twilight Zone: The Movie, was released in 1983 and featured four different episodes and stories that stood alone.
DiCaprio has indicated that The Twilight Zone is his favorite show in interviews.
