The Walkmen Release New Record Early
The Walkmen have decided to release their new record, You & Me, a few weeks early through AmieStreet.com. For a limited three-week period, which began July 29, the album will be available to download for just $5, with all proceeds going to a very special charity. A physical release will drop on August 19."All donations go to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in honor of Luca Vasallo, a friend to the band and a current patient who is seven months old and doing a great job fighting a very difficult disease," Peter Bauer of The Walkmen said in a statement. "This is a very good organization that certainly deserves the attention."
To snag the Walkmen's record and help support a much-needed cause, head over to AmieStreet.com/thewalkmen.
