Andy Garcia, Emily Mortimer, and Julianna Margulies Inhabit "City Island"

Andry Garcia, Emily Mortimer, Julianna Margulies, Steven Strait, and Alan Arkin have all signed on to star in City Island, an offbeat family prison comedy.

The film began shooting last weekend in the Bronx and is set in the City Island neighborhood, with Garcia playing Vince Rizzo, a prison official who realizes that one of the inmates, played by Strait, is his illegitimate child. He tries to become his son's guardian in the process. Margulies will play Rizzo's wife, with Arkin portraying an acting teacher and Mortimer as a student in the acting class. Garcia's real-life daughter, Dominik Garcia-Lorido, will portray his daughter on screen as well, making it an all in the family comedy.

Additionally, Garcia's CineSon production company will produce the film.
