    The "Songs of David Byrne and Brian Eno" tour suddenly went from a brief trek to a worldwide affair, with a North American leg confirmed between a September 16 stop in Bethlehem, PA, and a November 8 gig in Philadelphia. As previously reported, Byrne will perform Eno-era Talking Heads tunes and selections from My Life in the Bush of Ghosts and its August 18 follow-up, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.

    According to Byrne, he also plans on hitting "Australasia" in early 2009 and Europe next March. No dates have been confirmed on that front yet, however.
