Another Posthumous John Peel Memoir on the Way
Another collection of John Peel's unpublished writing is due out October 23, following in the footsteps of the 2005 anthology Margrave of the Marshes. This one's called The Olivetti Chronicles: Notes on Life, Music and Facial Hair.True to its title, the book features pieces on the Eurovision competition, "Tubular Bells," shaving, and losing one's virginity. Peel's wife, Sheila, helped curate the entire affair.
