Ben Kweller Delays New Disc

Ben Kweller's fourth solo album, Changing Horses, has been bumped from a September release date to sometime early next year. Sound wise, the effort is inspired by country music and was produced by Steve Mazur of Our Lady Peace.
"It's an album I've wanted to make for years but just never got around to it," Kweller wrote on his MySpace page. "I grew up in a small east-Texas town called Greenville where my whole childhood was spent playing in creeks, bass fishing, shooting BB guns, thinking about girls and listening to Garth. After The Beatles and before Nirvana—country music was the soundtrack to my life. It's definitely shaped who I am as an artist."
Anyone looking for a preview of Kweller's new cuts can check out his fall tour, which runs from a September 25 stop in Dallas to a November 2 gig in Austin, TX.
