Dennis Hopper, Kelsey Grammer, James Woods Love "Carol"
An American Carol, the ensemble comedy featuring acting heavyweights such as Kelsey Grammer, James Woods, and Leslie Nielsen, as well as 1970s superstars Dennis Hopper and Jon Voight, has finally received a North American distributor and a release date. The film, a cynical study about an anti-American filmmaker who tries to get rid of the July 4th holiday festivities, only to be visited by three ghosts who attempt to get him to change his viewpoint, has been picked up by Vivendi Entertainment and will be released on a wide scale on October 3.David Zucker wrote, produced, and directed the flick, which spoofs the central plot of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
