Eli Roth Bastardized!

Frequent collaborators Eli Roth and Quentin Tarantino are up to their old tricks again. The directing buddies, who have joined forces on violent films like Hostel and Grindhouse, will work together on Tarantino's upcoming drama Inglorious Bastards. Roth will portray a hunter of Nazis named Sgt. Donnie Donowitz in the World War II action adventure.

Brad Pitt is also in talks to star as Aldo Raine, the leader of a troupe of Jewish-American soldiers who have the bad guys in their sights. Tarantino will finalize the cast in the coming weeks and production on the film is set to begin this fall in Europe. The Weinstein Company and Universal Pictures will produce.
