Music Video Director Sam Bayer Teams Up With Michael Bay

Noted music video director Sam Bayer, who has lensed videos for tons of hot rock 'n' roll acts, among them the iconic "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video for Nirvana, as well as Blink-182, Metallica, and Sheryl Crow to name a few, is teaming up with heavyweight producer/director Michael Bay. Bayer will direct Fiasco Heights for Universal, which will be produced by Bay and his associates through their Platinum Dunes shingle.

The film has a noir cast to it. The plot follows a gunman in the crime-plagued city of Fiasco Heights who links up with a private eye who has a penchant for gambling and is on the run from a crime syndicate.
