Lisa Kudrow Sued by Former Manager
One time Friend Lisa Kudrow is being sued by her former manager over unpaid commissions. Scott Howard, who began managing the star's career in 1991, filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court last week, claiming that the actress failed to pay him for commissions owed for his efforts. Kudrow, who became a household name by portraying ditzy Phoebe on the uber-popular comedy, terminated their contract in 2007, well after they went through several renegotiations on percentages after Friends blew up and Kudrow hit pay dirt with the series.Howard claims that Kudrow has neither paid him Friends commissions nor has she paid him for commissions earned from non-Friends work. He is seeking at least $50,000 in compensation. No statement has been issued by Kudrow's camp at press time.
