Laurence Fishburne May Leap to TV
Laurence Fishburne is about to hop on the hotter-than-hot Hollywood bandwagon that has been transporting stars from movies to TV series all year long. The longtime film star, perhaps best known for his role as Morpheus in The Matrix franchise, is in discussions to join the eight-year-old hit series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Producers have been courting Fishburne to play a new character, a scientist that isn't in the CSI unit but who has a serial killer's profile. Fishburne wouldn't be taking over for William Peterson, who is departing the series, either.
