Philip Seymour Hoffman, Play Director
Philip Seymour Hoffman will be directing a play in London's West End in September. The play is called Riflemind and traces the story of a rock band who breaks up only to reform 20 years later. The play was written by Australian scribe Andrew Upton, also known as the husband of actress Cate Blanchett.Hoffman, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Truman Capote in 2005's Capote, is proving to be a modern day Renaissance Man. In addition to acting and now directing, he also owns and operates Cooper's Town Productions, where he develops films.
