Mary-Louise Parker "Heddas" Back to Broadway
Mary-Louise Parker will "hedda" to Broadway this winter. The star of Showtime's critically lauded Weeds is set to headline the play Hedda Gabler for the Roundabout Theater Company beginning in January. The play will open at the American Airlines Theater. This isn't Parker's first stint on Broadway. Her last stage credit was Dead Man's Cell Phone, which ran at Playwrights Horizons this past spring. She also won a Tony for her performance in Proof, later made into a film of the same name starring Gwyneth Paltrow. This version isn't the theater company's first production of Hedda. It produced a version of the play about the famously conflicted Gabler back in 1994.
