Maybe it'll make up for last year
Britney Spears Among Video of the Year Nominees
MTV has named its Video of the Year nominees for 2008, including Britney Spears ("Pieces of Me"), the Jonas Brothers ("Burnin' Up"), Chris Brown ("Forever"), the Pussycat Dolls ("When I Grow Up"), and The Ting Tings ("Shut Up and Let Me Go"). Whether or not Spears will appear/perform at the show's September 7 broadcast is unknown. What we do know is she's working on a new album, her "best work ever" according to an interview with OK! magazine.—The ARTISTdirect Staff
