Willem Dafoe, Charlotte Gainsbourg Find the "Antichrist"

Willem Dafoe made headlines in the late '80s for his portrayal of Jesus Christ in the controversial film The Last Temptation of Christ. Now, the actor has signed on to star in the horror-thriller Antichrist with French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg. However, this film is much less religious than Dafoe's previous foray into Christ-related films.

Dafoe and Gainsbourg will play a couple dealing with the death of their child. They head to an isolated cabin in the woods and the action ensues from there. Production on the film, written by Anders Thomas Jensen, begins this month in Germany. Lars von Trier, of Dancer in the Dark fame, will direct.
